All Purpose Masonry and Concrete Cleaner
MasonryDefender® All-Purpose Masonry & Concrete Cleaner cleans most exterior, above-grade concrete surfaces including residential driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage floors, pavers, and more. MasonryDefender All-Purpose Masonry & Concrete Cleaner is a powdered concentrate that cleans and restores masonry and concrete surfaces. It removes dirt, grime, and stains caused by mold and mildew.
This product is recommended for surface preparation prior to application of MasonryDefender Concrete Driveway Sealer, MasonryDefender Garage Floor Sealer, MasonryDefender Patio Paver Sealer, and MasonryDefender Interior/Exterior Brick Sealer.
APPLICATION
STEP 1: MIX
Mix 1 container of MasonryDefender All Purpose
Masonry & Concrete Cleaner powdered concentrate
with 5 gallons of water. Mix with water and stir
thoroughly until powder is mostly dissolved. Powder
dissolves faster in warm water. Solution should be
used within 3 hours of mixing.
STEP 2: APPLY
Dampen surface with water before application. Apply
MasonryDefender All Purpose Masonry & Concrete
Cleaner solution with a pump-up garden sprayer. To
prevent undissolved granules from clogging the
sprayer nozzle, use a paint strainer sock when
pouring cleaning solution into sprayer. Let solution
stand approximately 20-30 minutes, keeping area
wet with additional cleaning solution.
STEP 3: RINSE
Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer. If a
pressure washer is not available, surface can be
scrubbed with a stiff, short bristle broom or brush and
then rinsed with a garden hose. Note: For best
results, a pressure washer is highly recommended.
This product is designed to loosen dirt and grime to
make removal with a pressure washer easier. Using
a garden hose will not clean the surface as
thoroughly as a pressure washer. Heavily soiled
surfaces may require a second application. Allow
surface to dry before applying MasonryDefender
sealers.
Coverage Rate: Each 2 lb container of cleaner will
clean approximately 500 – 1,000 sq. ft. depending
on surface porosity.
Storage and Disposal: Dispose of this container
and any unused product in accordance with all
federal, state, and local regulations.
Cleanup: Clean tools immediately after each use
with soap and water.
